Mamata Banerjee’s Niece Found Dead at Birbhum Home Amid Divorce Proceedings

Kolkata: Bristi Mukherjee, a 28-year-old relative of Trinamool Congress chief and former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, was found dead at her residence in Birbhum district on Tuesday, September 1. Police have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Mukherjee was found inside a room on the second floor of her family home in the Kusumba area of Rampurhat. Following information from the family, police reached the residence and recovered the body.
