Infosys Public Services Chief Lax Gopisetty Unreachable After Nepal Flood Disaster

New Delhi: Infosys Public Services chief Lax Gopisetty has become unreachable following the devastating flash floods that struck parts of Nepal, raising concern among his colleagues, friends and family. Gopisetty had travelled to Nepal in a personal capacity when the disaster hit the region.

Infosys confirmed that it was aware of the situation and said that the immediate priority was to establish contact with Gopisetty and ensure his safety. The company is coordinating with relevant authorities and agencies as efforts continue to determine his whereabouts.

The development comes as Nepal continues to deal with one of its most serious recent natural disasters. Flash floods and landslides have devastated areas close to the Nepal-China border, damaging roads, bridges and other infrastructure while leaving a large number of people missing. Gopisetty Was Visiting Nepal Privately

According to Infosys, Gopisetty was not travelling on an official company assignment. He had visited the region in a personal capacity.
