Bharti Airtel has changed its prepaid recharge lineup, removing its ₹299 plan from the company’s available recharge options. The plan is no longer listed on Airtel’s official website or the Airtel Thanks app, making the ₹349 pack the cheapest Airtel option that combines unlimited voice calling with daily mobile data.

The change means customers who previously relied on the ₹299 recharge for a lower-cost combination of calls, data and SMS will now need to spend at least ₹50 more for a comparable daily-data unlimited-calling package.

What the ₹299 Plan Offered

The ₹399 option also comes with additional benefits, including a JioHotstar mobile subscription along with other Airtel-related benefits.

This gives users a choice between the ₹349 pack, which offers 2GB of daily data, and the ₹399 option, which raises the daily allowance to 2.5GB while adding entertainment-related benefits.

What About the ₹579 and ₹619 Plans?

There have also been reports about Airtel removing its ₹579 and ₹619 prepaid plans in certain telecom circles, particularly Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

However, unlike the ₹299 plan, these two packs have not been officially confirmed as discontinued nationwide. Their availability can vary depending on the telecom circle, and the plans may still appear in Airtel’s official recharge listings.
