Ai+ Nova 2 Power Debuts With Dimensity 7100 Chip and Distinctive Colour Fusion Finish

Ai+ has introduced the Nova 2 Power as a new addition to its Nova 2 smartphone lineup, bringing a combination of a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor, a distinctive exterior finish and the company’s own software platform. Rather than revealing every specification at once, the company has chosen to put the phone through an early community-led evaluation programme before disclosing its complete details.

The Nova 2 Power is being presented through Ai+’s “Project Open Review 2.0”, an initiative designed to allow selected technology reviewers, creators, journalists, enthusiasts and ethical hackers to use the device ahead of its wider market availability. According to the company, participants will be able to test the handset independently and share both its strengths and shortcomings.

Ai+ Opens the Phone to Independent Testing

Project Open Review 2.0 is an expanded version of an earlier programme conducted by Ai+. The first edition reportedly attracted more than 700 participants. For the latest initiative, the company has widened participation by bringing ethical hackers into the testing group alongside reviewers and technology enthusiasts.

The idea is to give potential buyers access to opinions based on hands-on use rather than relying entirely on conventional promotional campaigns. Participants are expected to have freedom in evaluating the phone, while Ai+ says they are not required to publish only positive feedback.

This approach could give the Nova 2 Power an unusual pre-launch presence, particularly among technology audiences interested in practical performance and real-world usability.

Colour Fusion Becomes a Key Design Element

One of the most noticeable aspects of the Nova 2 Power is its exterior styling. Ai+ has introduced what it calls a “Colour Fusion” finish, with two colour variants planned for the smartphone.

The Golden Blue Fusion version combines gold with a deep navy blue shade, giving the rear panel a contrasting appearance. The Blue Fusion option takes a different approach, transitioning from ocean blue toward sunset orange through a gradient treatment.

Ai+ is positioning the colour treatment as more than simply an additional cosmetic choice. The company describes Colour Fusion as part of the phone’s visual identity, suggesting that the design is intended to make the Nova 2 Power stand apart in a crowded smartphone market.

Dimensity 7100 at the Core

Under the hood, the Nova 2 Power will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 chipset. The processor is built using a 6nm manufacturing process and is intended to balance everyday performance with energy efficiency.

The choice of the Dimensity 7100 places the Nova 2 Power among smartphones focusing on a combination of processing capability and power management rather than relying solely on headline specifications.

On the software side, the handset will run Ai+’s proprietary NxtQuantum OS. However, the company has not yet provided a complete breakdown of the software experience or all of the hardware configurations that will accompany the device.
