Bigg Boss Telugu 10: Is Dakshi Guttikonda the Next Wild Card Contestant?
Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has entered a phase where the competition inside the house is becoming increasingly intense, while speculation about new wildcard contestants is adding another layer of excitement for viewers. The latest name doing the rounds is actress Dakshi Guttikonda, who is reportedly being considered for a wildcard entry into the reality show.
However, there is an important point that viewers should keep in mind: Dakshi Guttikonda’s entry has not been officially confirmed by the Bigg Boss team as of October 8, 2026. The current information comes from industry buzz and social media discussions rather than an official announcement.
Dakshi Guttikonda’s Name Sparks Wildcard Buzz
Dakshi Guttikonda has become the latest actress whose name is being linked with Bigg Boss Telugu Season 10. Her possible entry comes at a time when discussions around wildcard contestants are gaining momentum.
The show has already moved into its fifth week, with nominations, disagreements and task-related conflicts becoming an important part of the ongoing season. Reports about new entries have therefore attracted considerable attention because wildcard contestants can potentially change the existing dynamics inside the house.
While Dakshi's name is circulating strongly, it would be premature to describe her as a confirmed contestant. Until the makers officially announce her participation or she is actually introduced on the show, her entry should be treated as a possibility rather than a certainty.
Who Is Dakshi Guttikonda?
Dakshi Guttikonda is an actress who entered the Telugu film industry with Ram Gopal Varma’s Coronavirus. The film marked an early opportunity in her acting career and brought her into the spotlight.
Her association with Ram Gopal Varma has also remained part of her public career story. In comments about the filmmaker, Dakshi reportedly recalled that she initially felt nervous when she first met him. After working with him, however, she said her perception changed and spoke about his understanding of cinema.
Her career has not followed a continuously active path. After Coronavirus, she stayed away from films for a period before returning to acting after a gap of roughly four years.
Following her return, she became associated with projects including a film connected with filmmaker Shekar Suri and Doodhekul. She also appeared in Nithiin’s Extraordinary Man, giving her additional exposure to mainstream Telugu cinema audiences.
Why Her Possible Entry Is Creating Interest
A wildcard contestant enters the Bigg Boss house after the original group has already spent several weeks together. By that stage, contestants usually begin forming friendships, rivalries and informal groups.
That makes a new entry potentially significant.
If Dakshi does enter the house, her film background could give her a different starting point from contestants who are primarily known through television or other entertainment platforms. At the same time, her previous acting experience does not automatically indicate how she would perform in a reality-show environment.
Bigg Boss is based heavily on interpersonal relationships, communication, tasks and the ability to handle pressure. Therefore, viewers are likely to be more interested in Dakshi’s personality and game strategy than simply her film credits.
Wildcard Entries Could Change the Season
The timing of the speculation is also noteworthy. Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has already progressed beyond its opening weeks, and reports about multiple possible wildcard contestants have been circulating.
A separate recent report also noted that several names were being discussed for possible wildcard entries, while stressing that the makers had not officially confirmed the identities or entry timing.
This suggests that wildcard speculation is currently a broader trend around the season rather than being limited to Dakshi alone.
For viewers, the distinction between a reported name and a confirmed contestant is important. Bigg Boss-related rumours frequently gain momentum through social media before the show's producers make their final announcements.
Will Dakshi Really Enter Bigg Boss Telugu 10?
At present, the answer remains uncertain.
The report linking Dakshi Guttikonda to the show says that her name is being discussed as a potential wildcard contestant, but it also clearly points out that there has been no official confirmation from the Bigg Boss organisers.
If she eventually enters the house, her arrival could add another film-industry personality to the competition and introduce a new dynamic among the existing contestants. But until the makers confirm her participation, viewers should consider the news as wildcard-entry speculation rather than confirmed casting.
For now, the biggest question is not simply whether Dakshi Guttikonda is on the wildcard list, but whether the actress will actually walk through the Bigg Boss house doors. An official announcement or her appearance on the show will ultimately provide the answer.
