Nani’s Paradise Release Could Move to October 1 Amid Post-Production Work
Nani’s upcoming film Paradise may not reach theatres on its previously announced September 24 release date. According to industry sources, the film is now increasingly likely to arrive a week later, with October 1 emerging as the possible new date for its theatrical release.
The change in schedule is reportedly connected to work that is still pending on the film, particularly its graphics and visual effects. With the production team looking to complete the remaining post-production work to the required standard, the makers are said to be considering a short postponement rather than rushing the project for its original date.
Post-production work behind the possible delay
Visual effects and graphics have become an important part of the final stage of Paradise, and sources indicate that some of this work is yet to be completed. The team is reportedly concentrating on finishing these elements before locking the film for its theatrical run.
A delay of approximately one week could give the makers additional time to complete the remaining technical work and prepare the film for release without compromising the final output.
At present, September 24 remains the date that had been planned earlier. However, developments within the team suggest that October 1 could eventually become the new release date.
OTT agreement adds another complication
The release-date discussions are reportedly not limited to post-production requirements. There is also an OTT agreement associated with the film that is understood to have been structured around a September release.
A change in the theatrical schedule could therefore require discussions with the streaming partner. This has reportedly contributed to uncertainty surrounding the release plans, as the makers need to ensure that any revised theatrical date remains compatible with the existing OTT arrangement.
Music director Anirudh Ravichander is said to have become involved in resolving the matter. According to sources, Anirudh has assured the team that he would communicate with the OTT representatives and attempt to clear any issues arising from the change in schedule.
His involvement is expected to help the makers navigate the agreement while they work toward finalising the theatrical release.
October 1 reportedly gaining momentum
Although there has been no official confirmation of a change so far, sources close to the project reportedly believe that October 1 is now the more probable release date.
The one-week shift would allow the team additional breathing room for the pending graphics work while also giving them time to address the OTT-related concerns. The focus appears to be on ensuring that all elements are properly completed before the film reaches audiences.
For now, fans will have to wait for an official word from the production team before treating October 1 as confirmed. Until such an announcement arrives, September 24 continues to remain the scheduled date, although uncertainty surrounds whether the film will be ready for that day.
Nani and Srikanth Odela team up again for an anticipated project
Paradise features Nani in the lead role and is directed by Srikanth Odela. The film is being produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas banner.
With the final stages of post-production currently underway, the makers are reportedly giving priority to completing the project properly rather than proceeding with an uncertain release schedule.
The coming days are expected to provide greater clarity on the film’s theatrical plans. If the reports about the revised schedule prove accurate, audiences could see Paradise arriving in theatres on October 1 instead of September 24.
For now, the revised date remains unconfirmed, and an official announcement from the makers is awaited.
