Bigg Boss Telugu 10 Contestants’ Weekly Remuneration: Who Is Earning the Most?
Bigg Boss Telugu 10 has officially begun, bringing a fresh mix of television personalities, entertainers and commoners into the reality-show house. The tenth season opened on September 6 with 16 contestants, including 10 celebrities and six commoners. As the new season gets underway, attention has quickly shifted beyond the contestants themselves to one of the most discussed topics surrounding the show — their reported weekly remuneration.
The figures circulating about the contestants are reportedly based on their popularity, television and entertainment-industry experience, and audience following. However, these amounts are reported figures and have not been officially confirmed by the show makers or the contestants.
Ram Prasad reportedly tops the list
According to the figures reported around the launch of the season, Jabardasth Ram Prasad is said to be the highest-paid contestant among the celebrities entering the Bigg Boss Telugu 10 house. His reported weekly remuneration stands at Rs 4.5 lakh.
Ram Prasad's strong association with the popular comedy show Jabardasth has given him considerable recognition among Telugu television audiences, making his reported remuneration one of the biggest talking points of the season.
Anchor Varshini is also reportedly among the highest-paid contestants. She is said to receive around Rs 3.5 lakh per week. Her sizeable social-media following is believed to have played a role in determining her reported fee. The anchor had also been linked with Bigg Boss Telugu in previous seasons before finally entering the house this year.
Several contestants reportedly earn Rs 2 lakh and above
The reported remuneration list includes several familiar faces from Telugu television and entertainment.
Mukesh Goud is reportedly receiving Rs 3 lakh per week, while Trigun, also known as Adit Arun, and Debjani Modak are each said to be earning approximately Rs 2.75 lakh per week.
Debjani is known to Telugu television viewers through her work in serials. Before the season began, reports had suggested a higher figure for her, but the latest report following the show's launch puts her reported weekly remuneration at Rs 2.75 lakh.
Jabardasth Naresh is reportedly earning Rs 2.5 lakh per week, with his popularity from the comedy programme being one of the factors associated with his fee.
Chaitra Rai is also reportedly receiving Rs 2.5 lakh per week.
Meanwhile, Temper Vamsi and actor Krishnudu are each said to be earning around Rs 2 lakh per week.
Anchor Sudheer Reddy's reported fee
Among the other celebrity contestants, anchor Sudheer Reddy is reportedly receiving Rs 1.25 lakh every week.
The reported remuneration varies considerably from one contestant to another, highlighting how reality shows can structure payments around an individual's public profile, television experience and popularity.
Six commoners also enter the house
Bigg Boss Telugu 10 is not limited to established entertainment personalities. This season also features six commoners, adding another dimension to the competition.
According to the report, the commoner contestants are expected to receive approximately Rs 70,000 per week, similar to the reported arrangement for commoners in the previous season.
There was also a payment associated with the Agni Pareeksha selection process. The report states that 15 participants who took part in the process received Rs 50,000 each this season.
A season with a wide mix of contestants
The Bigg Boss Telugu 10 lineup includes television actors, anchors, singers, comedians, performers and contestants from outside the established entertainment circuit. The reported remuneration differences reflect the varied backgrounds of those entering the house.
The celebrity lineup includes names such as Debjani Modak, Trigun, singer Jhansi, Sudheer Reddy, Aman Masood, Chaitra Rai, Ram Prasad, Shalini, Temper Vamsi, Srushti Vyakarana, Jabardasth Naresh, RJ Charan, Krishnudu, Varshini, Rohit Naidu and Mukesh Goud.
While the weekly payments have generated plenty of curiosity, the real measure of a contestant's value inside the house will ultimately be their performance in the game. Contestants who remain longer could potentially accumulate substantially more in weekly payments than those eliminated early.
For now, Ram Prasad's reported Rs 4.5 lakh weekly remuneration places him at the top of the season's reported celebrity pay scale, while Varshini and Mukesh Goud are also positioned among the better-paid contestants. With the season only just beginning, viewers will be watching to see whether popularity translates into strong performances, audience support and a long stay inside the Bigg Boss house.
