Sajjala Says Vijaya Sai Reddy Left YSRCP for Personal Reasons, Questions His Recent Political Remarks

Amaravati: The political dispute between former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Vijaya Sai Reddy and the party’s leadership has intensified, with YSRCP state coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy responding to the former Rajya Sabha member’s recent allegations and political statements.

Sajjala said Vijaya Sai Reddy had left the YSRCP for personal reasons and rejected the suggestion that the party had pushed him out. He also questioned the former leader’s decision to make strong remarks about the party and its leadership after leaving the organisation.

According to Sajjala, the YSRCP had generally avoided making public criticism of leaders who chose to leave the party. He said party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had also refrained from speaking negatively about those who moved away from the organisation.

Sajjala strongly objected to comments attributed to Vijaya Sai Reddy concerning Jagan Mohan Reddy and religious issues. He said it was inappropriate for someone who had worked closely with the YSR family for many years to make such allegations against the YSRCP president.

He argued that Jagan's political career and relationship with different sections of society should be viewed in the context of the party's broader political journey. Sajjala maintained that the YSRCP's political identity was built around the ideas associated with the YS family.
