Fire-Boltt Enters Smartphone Market With Boltt Ace 5G and Evo 4G

Fire-Boltt has expanded beyond its established wearable-device business and entered India’s budget smartphone segment with two new handsets under its Boltt smartphone brand. The company has introduced the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo 4G, targeting consumers looking for large displays, high-capacity batteries and a relatively clean Android experience without moving into the higher-priced smartphone categories.

Both models are positioned below the ₹20,000 segment and share several hardware features, including a 6.79-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness of up to 600 nits. The company is also highlighting their software experience, AI-based camera capabilities and large 6,000mAh batteries as key selling points.

Boltt Ace 5G: Price and Variants

The Boltt Ace 5G is the more feature-focused model of the two and, as its name suggests, supports 5G connectivity. It is being offered in three memory configurations.

The 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version is priced at ₹13,999. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs ₹14,999, while the top-end 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at ₹15,999.

The phone is powered by the Unisoc T8200 chipset. The configuration is aimed at everyday smartphone requirements such as browsing, social networking, video consumption and other routine tasks.

For photography, the Ace 5G features a 64MP primary rear camera. An 8MP front-facing camera is provided for selfies and video calls. AI-based imaging features include options such as Face Unblur and Night Mode.

Boltt Evo 4G Targets a Lower Price Point

The Boltt Evo 4G sits below the Ace 5G in the lineup and is designed for customers who do not specifically require 5G connectivity.

It comes in two configurations. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at ₹10,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version costs ₹11,999.

Under the hood, the Evo uses the Unisoc T7250 processor. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main rear camera, along with an 8MP selfie camera. Like the Ace 5G, the Evo also gets AI-supported photography features intended to improve everyday images.

Large 120Hz Display Across Both Phones

One of the common highlights of the two smartphones is their 6.79-inch HD+ screen. The 120Hz refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling and animations compared with conventional 60Hz displays.

The displays can reach up to 600 nits of brightness, giving users a larger viewing area for activities such as watching videos, browsing social media and reading content.

The combination of a large screen and high refresh rate appears to be one of Boltt’s key attempts to differentiate its smartphones in the competitive budget segment.

Android 16 and AI Features

Software is another area where the new smartphones aim to stand out. Both devices run on Android 16 and are described as offering a clean software environment without unnecessary advertising or unwanted applications.

The phones also include features such as Circle to Search and Google Lens. Their camera systems incorporate Google AI-related capabilities, including Face Unblur and Night Mode.

For buyers who prefer a simpler interface and do not want a heavily customized Android experience, this could be an important consideration when comparing the new Boltt models with other affordable smartphones.

6,000mAh Battery and 18W Charging

Battery capacity is another major highlight. Both the Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo 4G pack a 6,000mAh battery, giving the phones a substantial power reserve for regular daily use.

They also support 18W fast charging. The Ace 5G additionally includes NFC, which enables contactless payment functionality on compatible services.

The combination of a large battery, 120Hz display and budget pricing could make the phones particularly appealing to consumers who prioritize battery endurance and multimedia usage over premium hardware.

Sale Date and Launch Offer

The two smartphones are scheduled to go on sale through Flipkart from September 1 at 12 noon. As part of the initial launch promotion, buyers can receive an instant ₹1,000 discount.

With the Evo 4G starting at ₹10,999 and the Ace 5G beginning at ₹13,999, Boltt is entering a highly competitive portion of India’s smartphone market. The company’s approach combines affordable pricing with features such as a 120Hz display, 6,000mAh battery, Android 16 and AI-enabled camera tools.

For potential buyers, the final choice between the two will largely depend on whether 5G connectivity is important and how much RAM and storage are required. Before purchasing, consumers may also want to check the availability of service support in their area.
