Bhagyashree Borse Replaces Sreeleela in Akhil Akkineni’s 'Lenin'

In a surprising development, Bhagyashree Borse has been cast as the new female lead in Akhil Akkineni's upcoming film Lenin, replacing Sreeleela due to scheduling conflicts.

Lenin, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu and produced by Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments, is a romantic action drama set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema. The film explores themes of love and honor killings, with Akhil portraying a rugged rural character. 

Bhagyashree Borse, who gained recognition from her debut in Mr. Bachchan, is rapidly emerging as a notable talent in Tollywood. Her inclusion in Lenin adds to her growing list of projects, including roles alongside Vijay Deverakonda and Ram.

The production team plans to reshoot scenes previously filmed with Sreeleela, aiming for a Diwali release. With Thaman S composing the music and a compelling storyline, Lenin is poised to be a significant release for both Akhil and Bhagyashree.
