Temple jewellery, which is occasionally mistakenly called Kemp jewellery, is an extremely expensive, labor-intensive art form that mesmerises and tantalises all at once. These were initially made to ornament Indian aristocracy, who later donated them to temples. Later, temple dancers began to wear them, and over time, the designs began to appear in Indian women's bridal jewellery collections.
