The real estate market in Hyderabad has recently seen a decline of 16% in overall registrations, but there has been a surprising increase of 1% in premium home registrations.
This trend has been observed in the first quarter of the financial year 2021-2022. According to the registration and stamps department, the total number of registrations in the city has decreased from 1,31,000 to 1,09,000 compared to the same period last year.
However, there has been an increase in premium home registrations from 4,872 to 4,919 during this time. This indicates that while the overall market may be facing challenges, there is still demand for high-end properties.
This could be attributed to the fact that despite the pandemic, there is a growing trend of people wanting to upgrade their living spaces and invest in luxury homes.
Additionally, with work-from-home becoming the new normal, individuals and families are looking for bigger and more comfortable homes that can cater to their changing lifestyle needs.
The increase in premium home registrations is a positive sign for the real estate market in Hyderabad and showcases its resilience during difficult times.
